This week we had two tents booked. Tent one had four guests in, two children and two adults. Tent two had four guests in as well, again two adults and two children.
The guests came together, which I must admit made the breakfast, lunch and dinner preparations a lot easier. All their food was organic, which was a bit different to the normal food products used. They had different suggestions or preferences of how they wanted their food made compared to the usual guests that we have had at Moselesele. This was a bit of a challenge, seeing as both Lilandi and myself were unsure of how the food would end up being, as neither of us have made an all organic meal, let alone three a day.
In the end the eight guests that we had to prepare food for were very particular about the way they wanted their food made, which is understandable. The one lady gave us the instructions about how they wanted their food made and the other lady wasn't happy about how we had prepared it. After a while Lilandi and myself were shouted at by the second lady because of the lack of communication between the two ladies.
The lesson I learnt from this week at Moselesele was that even though you can be doing your job following one person's instructions, there might be a lack of communication between that person and their fellow people. I also learnt that even though I've been at Moselesele a lot and each time I've had nice guests, there will eventually come a time that you will get difficult guests and you need to know how to react and not do it in an inappropriate manner which could cost you your career.
